I can't find your prices. Where are they?
All our prices are listed on the individual product infomation pages. Follow the links to products on the left-side menus. On most product pages you will need to select the finish to see any specific colour uplifts then select the size to see the base price for each door size. Custom sizes are simply priced on the next size up.
I'm trying to purchase custom sized doors but the goods aren't going in the cart. Why not?
In addition to entering your exact sizes in the Custom sizes boxes you must select the next size up from the sizes drop-down.
Why are your prices so much less than in the high street?
We are an internet based company selling directly to you, our customer. There are no intermediaries to take their cut and no showroom rents to be paid. The quality and prices of our products sell themselves and require minimal input from ourselves. Normally you, our Customer can read a tape measure and are quite capable of deciding what you need without a high pressure salesman. We are always here to assist you by email or telephone. There is no compromise on quality and indeed we purchase from the same leading manufacturers that supply many the UK's bigger replacement door organisations.
I don't feel confident to measure up and fit. Can you provide this service?
Although our prices are geared to the DIY market we can provide a comprehensive measuring and fitting service if you live in Surrey or Hampshire or within a reasonable travelling distance from our base in Camberley, Surrey. Our Surveyor can measure up and provide you with a quotation for a complete fully fitted service.
How can I get hold of a brochure?
Yes, please use our Brochures page where all our brochures are availble for instant downloading and where you can link to request a copy to be sent to you directly for a small contribution towards the postage costs.
The cupboard under my sink has been damaged by water. Can I get a matching one?
Yes, either select the appropriate one from the 'Cabinets' section or, for other sizes, we can manufacture a matching one for you. Please phone us or use our contact us form to send us your measurements and we will advise you which size to order. The cost will be based on the next size up with no uplift for made-to-measure.
I would like to modify/change my existing design. Can I get new units to match?
Yes, either select the appropriate ones from the 'Cabinets' section or, for other sizes, we can manufacture matching ones for you. Please phone us or use our contact us form to send us the sizes of your existing units and we will advise you which sizes to order. The cost will be based on the next size up with no uplift for made-to-measure.
What are the doors made of and what quality are they?
The doors are 18mm vinyl wrapped MDF. The MDF is the top quality premier grade heavy duty which should not warp or bow, particularly important on large doors. Our premier grade, heavy duty MDF (FINSA Certificate available upon request) is consistent through it's thickness and therefore will allow all deep routered designs. The Vinyl wrap is known as a pressure vinyl and is usually between 0.45mm and 0.6mm thick. No thinner, wrapping grade vinyls are used.
How durable are vinyl wrapped doors?
All of our doors are made for the kitchen environment. The beauty of their construction is that MDF doesn't ever warp or bow and the vinyl wrap doesn't stain or discolour and can be cleaned with most proprietary non-abrasive kitchen cleaners.
What is the warranty period?
Bella vinyl wrapped door products e.g. doors, drawer fronts, plinths, pelmets, cornices and end panels are covered by a full 3 year manufacturer's warranty. All other products have a 1 year warranty period.
Can I have a Sample?
Yes, of course, we can provide a 400mm x 320mm sample of any door in any finish. Please order your sample door using either the Samples and Swatches link or the sample button on any door product page. A colour swatch of any door, cabinet or worktop may also be requested via the Samples and Swatches pages. Sample doors are made to order so we do make a charge for them but this will be refunded if you order more than £100 of goods from us. Swatches are available free of charge.
Are samples available in every design and colour?
Samples are available in every design and every colour. In addition, colour swatches are available for every colour and finish and are free of charge. Please use our Samples and Swatches pages to order.
What is the smallest and largest size door/drawer front that you can supply?
The smallest made-to-measure door or drawer front we can supply is 100mm x 100mm. The largest is 2400mm x 650mm.
Can you supply glass doors?
Our framed doors are designed to be fitted with glass or acrylic. We can supply the acrylic glazing, which is both lightweight and shatterproof, for some of the smaller apertures. There is a 'glazing required' option where this is available. However, if you want glass you will have to get it locally supplied.
Are your doors made-to-measure?
Yes. Although we list all the most popular sized doors for your convenience of ordering, every door is, actually made-to-measure and made-to-order for your kitchen or bedroom.  If the size required is not listed then select the next size up and enter your exact sizes in the Custom boxes. The door will be priced as the next size up with no added surcharge.
Which direction does the wood grain go?
The wood grain usually runs vertically on doors and horizontally on drawer fronts. If you want it done differently please contact us as this can be arranged.
Do your doors come pre-drilled for hinges?
We supply doors either drilled or undrilled. Our ordering process will enable you to specify if and where you would like the hinge holes to be.
Do doors come with new hinges?
No, but hinges are supplied with our carcasses. Please go to our Handles and Hardware section to order new hinges.
Are the doors supplied with the holes for the handles pre-drilled?
No. Due to the vast choice of handles and knobs available it is not possible for us to offer this service. We would recommend that the position of the handle/knob is not finalised until all the doors are fitted.
What should I do if my order is delivered and I have any problems?
What should I do if an item arrives damaged?
All our products are inspected prior to despatch, they are securely packed in custom packaging and are very unlikely to arrive damaged. However, in that unlikely event do not worry as damaged goods will normally be replaced as a fast-track priority. In the case of transit damage you must sign the delivery note as 'DAMAGED' and notify us within 24 hours of receipt. It helps us enormously if you photograph the damaged packaging, ideally, BEFORE opening and DO NOT THROW IT AWAY. In the case of the goods having a manufacturing defect you must notify us within 3 days of receipt. In any event a photograph of the damaged/faulty product should be emailed to us. If you unfortunately damage any item during fitting we can supply a replacement using a fast-track process. All doors and end panels have a label attached to the back which contains a unique id number which can be use for emergency, fast-track replacement. It is essential that this label is not removed until the door is completely fitted.
How long will it take to replace a damaged an item?
All replacement products, however damaged will be replaced as a fast-track priority. Usually in about a week. Fast-track requires the unique id. number off the label attached to the back of the door/product.
Are damaged goods replaced free of charge?
Yes. Subject to photographic evidence any transit damaged goods will be replaced free of charge and as a priority. Any goods with manufacturing problems will need to be collected and returned to the manufacturers. We will speak to you personally with regards to the returns procedure. Some of our suppliers require a £25 deposit for the replacement item(s) which will be returned upon inspection of the damaged item(s). In these cases we will arrange for the item to be collected (so don't dispose of all the packaging!). The deposit will be refunded subject to inspection.
When do I have to pay for the goods?
As with most purchases on the internet payment is due at the time of checkout. The process is fully secured. You will be connected directly to the HSBC on-line Card Processing System for the payment transaction and all your details wil be securely encrypted using 128-bit encription. DIY Homefit Ltd. will not see or store your card information. Your card provider's normal protection will apply.
Can I return the goods if I am not satisfied for any reason?
Yes, certain goods may be returned in accordance with our terms and conditions, which are in full accordance with the distance selling regulations.
