How do I log on to the new site?

We have been able to transfer your old account details and old orders to our new site but the way you log on has now become easier - the email you gave us for your original account has become your unique user identity and you should log on by clicking on "Customer Login" (top right) and entering your email address together with the password you used on our old site. If you have forgotten your password just click on "Password Forgotten", enter your e-mail in the appropriate box and the system will allocate a secure password for you (you can change this for something more memorable as soon as you log on).

What has happened to the cart I built on the old site?

We recognise the challenge in putting together a complex cart of all the products you need for a bedroom or kitchen and the despair at finding your work has been lost! So we have transferred, by hand, the contents of your existing cart. This is not a fool-proof process and there are some additional choices to be made for some products so please check very carefully that your current shopping cart faithfully represents what you want in your new kitchen or bedroom.

The cart should be available when you log on - any problems, please call us.

Product Pages

We have tried to organise our site to make it even easier than the old site for you to find and order what you are looking for and once you have got started we hope you will find it very easy to use and to navigate around. Have a look around and go to any of the drop down tabs under KITCHENS or BEDROOMS in the top line - you'll find our existing products if you follow the menus. We hope you will find the menu items listed to be self explanatory and below are some of the key changes from the old site.

Kitchen Doors, Tall Doors and Drawer Fronts

We have split the old single list covering all sizes into three smaller lists as, for many styles, the tall doors are different from the small ones and the drawer fronts can be a different again. Many customers have been confused as to which sizes had, for instance, horizontal grain or which sizes had a mid-rail. These three options take you directly to the appropriate product pages and there are quick links (orange buttons) on each page to allow you to navigate between the three as you need.

To see the price of any size of door you can select the finish you require and either select a standard size or key in your custom sizes - the correct price will be displayed and you will be pleased to hear that we still do not charge extra for custom sizes.

Wardrobe Doors, Cupboard Doors and Drawer Fronts

Similarly, we have split up the bedroom doors into the same three groupings and these options take you directly to the appropriate product pages. The pricing mechanism is the same as for kitchen doors, above.

Kitchen Cabinet Carcasses

This page is very similar to how it was on the previous site and shows our complete range of made to measure kitchen carcasses, including wall units, dressers, base cupboards (with and without a drawer line), chests of drawers, appliance housings, larder and broom cupboards, all of which you can specify as standard size or with custom dimensions. To see the price please select the colour or door match you require and select the appropriate standard size. For customized dimensions you need to select the next standard size up (as on the old site) and then enter your custom dimension(s)in the custom sizes boxes.

Bedroom Wardrobe Cupboards and Drawers

As before, this page shows our complete range of made to measure bedroom carcasses including, wardrobes, chests of drawers and base cupboards (with and without a drawer line), all of which you can specify as standard size or with custom dimensions. To see the price you need to select the colour or door match you require and select a standard size. For customized dimensions you need to select the next standard size up (as on the old site) and then enter your custom dimension(s)in the custom sizes boxes.

Navigation Tips

Most of the pages you will need are available under the drop-down tabs on the top line and within the quick links section at the bottom of the page. We have created orange button links on most product pages to help you quickly move around the various product pages - you also have the option of a breadcrumb line just under the top line of tabs.

More New Functionality

Comments per item in the cart

As buying made to measure items can sometimes be difficult to fully define using a formal entry process we have added space for comments on any item once it is in the cart - here you can add such things as "Can your reduce the service void to 7mm?" or "Please supply this item unassembled"

Multiple carts

We have created a unique multiple cart facility where you can build and save several carts. This is particularly useful where perhaps you want to create separate carts for separate rooms or for different projects but are not yet ready to order any one of them.

Customer Services

As well as trying to make the experience of buying a bespoke kichen or bedroom from us as easy as possible, we have created new functionality for our very patient and very capable Customer Service Staff. They are now able to help you build your cart under your own login, they can re-sequence the products on large orders to facilitate checking, the issuing of vouchers against samples is now more automatic, and they can accommodate last minute changes of mind regarding styles or finishes and can amend your orders much more easily (after consultation and agreement with you). All changes which we believe will make us even easier to deal with.

Find a Fitter

And finally, a unique service: our ‘Find a Fitter’ option puts you in touch with the 5 nearest fitters to you from over 40 carpenters and fitters who are familiar with our products. Simply enter your postcode to see who we have registered local to you. If we haven't got one we’ll work with you to find one.
