The colour black has had a lot of publicity recently with the latest Black Friday having happened on Friday 27th November. Black Friday is the day immediately after Thanksgiving in the US and which increasingly heralds the start of the Christmas shopping season. The reference to black signifies the anticipated health of an organisation’s bank balance after all the profit they make on Black Friday!

At DIY Homefit we do like the slogan on The Co-operative Food range of reusable shopping bags – “Carrier bags are rubbish”.
